Kim Turner is a 4th and 5th grade teacher in the Personalized Enrichment and Advancement of Knowledge (PEAK) program at Alexander Doniphan Elementary in Liberty, Missouri. In 2017, Kim's students won 5th place in the Burns & McDonnell Battle of the Brains, securing $12,000 in funding. They used the money to build an innovative STEAM lab, filled with hands-on stations where students explore topics that interest them. Brandi Milliron, a talented and passionate teacher, uses the PCS Edventures Discover Drones learning solution in her STEM classes at West Minico Middle School. Recently, we had the chance to sit down with her as part of an educator tour where Teachers Got the Inside Scoop on Drones for Education. This training session was focused on learning how to implement drones in an educational setting, and Brandi had a lot of valuable insights to share from her personal experience teaching drones in the classroom.
