Instructor Prep for Discover Drones

The Instructor Package includes extra materials for professional development as a drone educator. Designed to supplement the Discover Drones materials and curriculum, this package includes everything you need to develop your own piloting skills without pulling from the student materials, including a drone backpack, FPV goggles, flight simulator software, radio controller, user manuals and your own personal RubiQ drone kit.

This package was inspired by Rich Stowell, an educator in McCall, Idaho, who teaches with the Discover Drones and Ready, Set, Drone! kits. Rich wanted a personal drone set that he could easily transport from site to site, which we thought was genius! With the help of the R&D team and our Thrust-UAV pilots, we developed an Instructor Drone Kit with a backpack for taking drones to the field and a compartmentalized bin for classroom storage. Since this kit comes with a comprehensive one-drone set, it is perfect for any educator to practice their flying skills, test out the product with a low-risk investment or provide spare parts for students during a field day.
