2025 JROTC Discover Drones Championship Registration

Get ready for the next JROTC Discover Drones Competition! Units will put their teamwork and drone piloting skills to the test.

Who can participate?

This Championship event is a private event for high school JROTC Units that have the PCS Edventures RubiQ Drone.

The in-person event will include an immersive competition experience, including an Opening Ceremony with a parade of service and state.

If your team is not able to compete in-person, there is an alternative Remote Championship option.

Outside organizations are not allowed to participate in this event at this time.

Competition Game Information:

Carefully review the 2025 Spin Out Drone Competition Manual to understand the game objectives, field layout and rules.

Your Discover Drones kits include the necessary field equipment to set up and practice at your school in preparation for this event.

Registration Information:

JROTC Units that would like to participate in-person in this event will need to register by March 15th, 2025.

Please note that JROTC Units can compete as a single team or bring multiple teams (max of 3 teams per unit).

JROTC Unit vs JROTC Team:

JROTC Unit: A JROTC Unit is a group of students from a single school/organization that identify under a single Unit number and are supervised by one or more Senior Aerospace Science Instructors.

JROTC Team: A JROTC Team for the JROTC Discover Drones Championship that consists of students from a single JROTC Unit. A JROTC Unit may consist of a single team or the unit may have multiple teams.
