The Panelists:

Michelle Victor

Director of STEM Development

Joining PCS in early 2015, Michelle and her unique skill set have thrived as Director of STEM Development, where she is responsible for curriculum evolution, product development coordination and professional lead acquisition. From coaching middle school robotics teams and working as program resource staff at summer camps, to tutoring elementary through adult math students at the Sylvan Learning Center, undergraduate chemistry students at Cornell Learning Strategies Center and Spanish-speaking farmworkers through Cornell Friends of Farmworkers, Michelle’s vast educational adventures solidify her as an expert in STEM education and as an integral part of the PCS Edventures team.


Erika Liebel

STEM Education Specialist & Curriculum Coordinator

As a former PCS Lab student herself, Erika has a deep passion for STEM and STEAM education. Erika received her bachelor’s degree from Linfield College, a master's from Middlebury College and pursued post-graduate studies at Cornell University and Northwest Nazarene University, with her graduate studies focusing on Second Language Acquisition, Curriculum Design and Educational Technology. Erika has worked in bilingual education in Spain and the United States, always incorporating STEAM-based strategies into her classroom. As a STEM Education Specialist and Curriculum Coordinator, Erika brings a unique perspective of STEAM education.


Jill Janicek

BrickLAB Developer & 2nd Grade Teacher

Jill has been teaching in the West Ada School District for 27 years and has taught grades K, 1, 2, and 5. She is a life-long learner and advocate for project-based learning. She has had training by PCSEdventures at the SySTEMic Summer Institute and written grants for BrickLABs. She and Dori Atterberry have taught at the I-STEM Summer Institute for 5 years using PCSEdventures BrickLAB kits. Jill also uses BrickLAB in her classroom, from individual designs with directions all the way to a project-based learning experience in groups of 4-5. They have even had times where the entire class builds together! Jill has been involved in several STEM Summer Camps for children as well, and she is very excited to share new ideas with you for your classrooms, wherever they might be!


Dori Atterberry

BrickLAB Developer & 1st Grade Teacher

Dori is a 1st grade teacher at Galileo STEAM Academy, a STEM certified school in Eagle Idaho, and brings over 30+ years of teaching experience. She holds a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood, is certified by the National Board and is a life-long learner and advocate for project based learning. She has taught at Camp Invention, a summer program in Idaho and has been a camp director for STEMbus Summer camps as well. Dori has also had the pleasure of leading BrickLAB professional development sessions throughout the state, making her a BrickLAB expert.
