The Academy of Robotic Challenge (AORC) Kit contains everything you need for a team of students to participate in our exciting, online international robotics challenge.
The hands-on, open-ended challenges generate enthusiasm for science, increase students' problem-solving skills,and create real-world teamwork scenarios. The Challenges are delivered via the internet at www.challengehub.com. The AORC Kit is so versatile it can be used in the classroom, after-school, as a summer camp, or at home.
How the Official PCS Challenge works:
- Mini Challenges are posted online before the main Challenge to prepare students for success.
- Official Challenges are posted online twice a year.
- Students work in teams with hands-on materials to create original solutions.
- Materials are not limited! Teams can utilize everything from fischertechnik®, K’NEX®, Inventa®, LEGO®, or Erector sets to items found in the garage.
- Students photograph and document their solution, and upload it to the PCS Challenge Hub Website.
- The PCS Robotics staff judges the entries and awards prizes.
- Prizes are awarded in multiple categories - everyone has a chance to win!
- A Photo gallery of all the other entries is available so students can see the wide variety of projects from across the globe!
