PCS Edventures!.COM and its managers and staff attend education and technology conferences on a regular basis to share information about the company and its products and services to educators, parents, community leaders and others involved in education. This is an important way for PCS to keep its many constituents involved in new innovations and research the company is involved in and to gain new insight and information to emerging trends and developments in education and technology.
PCS Chairman and CEO Tony Maher (right) explains the Academy of Engineering lab to Dr. Del Siegle during the 2001 "Edufest" conference for Gifted and Talent educators and parents held in July at Boise State University. Dr. Siegle is on the faculty of the University of Connecticut and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association for Gifted Children. He and Dr. Larry Rogien of Boise State University founded the Edufest conference five years ago and it has rapidly become one of the leading regional conferences dealing with gifted and talented education in the country.
